At Crucian Bayside Creations we want to give our customers an enjoyable shopping experience that will keep them coming back time and time again. That’s why we believe that our store policies should be fair, clear and transparent. Below you’ll find a list of our policies. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How long will my order take to make and ship?​

    • All of the products listed are already made and will be shipped within 24-48 hours of receiving your order confirmation email. Specialty custom-designed baskets may take up to 6 weeks to complete and ship.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal.

  • What type of materials do you use? 

    • Our reeds are from the core of the rattan vine. A variety of wood is used, such as mahogany, sea grape and driftwood.

  • Are your products handmade?

    • Yes! Each item is handmade from start to finish by our artisans. Because humans are not machines, the handcrafted products may exhibit slight flaws and inconsistencies.

    • Expect your handcrafted item to have its own unique individuality. No two pieces are exactly alike.

  • Do you take custom orders?

PRODUCT CARE

  • If you intend to use your basket to hold food, be sure to line it with a plastic liner, cloth napkin or paper towel to absorb any grease or oil that might be in the food.

​

  • Keep baskets away from heat sources like the kitchen stove, wood burning stove, radiators, fireplace and sunlight. The intense heat and UV rays of the sun can dry out the fibers of the basket making them brittle and cause dyed baskets to fade prematurely.

​

  • Body oils, lotion or grease can cause stains, mold, and mildew; therefore, it is best to handle your basket with clean hands.

​

  • To remove dust from your basket, use a feather duster or a clean, dry natural bristle paint brush. For deep cleaning, dampen a white 100% cotton cloth with cold water and blot gently. Let your basket air dry completely.

    • Avoid soaking your basket in water as this can result in it swelling and can contribute to dyed baskets losing their color.

RETURN POLICY

Thank you for your purchase!  We hope you are happy with your purchase.  As humans are not machines your handmade and handcrafted products may exhibit slight flaws and inconsistencies. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your package.  Returns are considered on a case-by-case basis.  We will do our best to resolve the problem quickly.

 

RETURNS

  • All returns must be postmarked within 14 days of the date your item was delivered. 

  • All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.  Any item that has been used is not eligible for a refund.

  • Please note:  You will be responsible for all return shipping charges – We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.

  • Please note: Sale items are FINAL and cannot be returned. 

 

REFUNDS

  • After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return. 

  • Please allow at least three business days from the receipt of your item to complete this process. 

  • We will notify you by email when your return has been processed and refund your credit card within 72 hours. 

  • Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company.

PAYMENT & SHIPPING

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal.  Once your order is ready, you will be notified by email.  Your product will be sent via USPS to the address you provide and you will be notified my email with the tracking number.

PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from (the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud

  • Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services (when in line with the preferences you have shared with us).

 

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of any future marketing and advertising campaigns).

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

 

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
